Next phase M4S: engaging solution and service providers

21 October 2024

In the first phase of the MORE4Sustainability project we were targeting asset owners. Which steps are manufacturing companies taking within Maintenance & Asset Management to improve energy efficiency and reduce greenhouse gas emissions? In the second phase we want to engage solution- and service providers. Which solutions and/or approaches do they offer to help these companies to achieve these sustainability goals?

The MORE4Sustainability project will lead to a roadmap for Sustainable Asset Management, a report with trends and inspiring best practices and showcases and an exclusive training program.

Fill the gap

The project is already leading to valuable insights. Many companies are sharing information and specifics on maintenance and sustainability. We can already conclude that the industry is aware of the need and of the legal obligation to become more sustainable. Manufacturing companies are already taking major steps. But there is still a gap to be filled. Sustainable Asset Management could be the answer.

Next level

To take necessary, additional steps towards a more sustainable way of working, many companies seek and apply solutions from specialised providers. Therefore it is only logical that these solution- and service providers are included in this research. Asset owners give information about the state of affairs, and the providers share insight into trends and developments.
So, the next phase is all about the techniques, approaches and innovations offered by these companies. How do they contribute in improving energy efficiency and reducing greenhouse gas emissions? How can they help the companies to accelerate? How can we join forces and help each other in this road to sustainability

Incentive

The survey for solution- and service providers is about the solution or solutions they provide and to what extend this/these solution(s) are beneficiary to execute Sustainable Asset Management. Every company that shares this information, will be mentioned in the end report. Also, the presented solution might even become one of the best practices or a showcase in the roadmap that will be publicly available.
But the best incentive is that all participants join forces to create a valuable roadmap for Sustainable Asset Management to reach the ultimate goal: creating a better world by improving sustainability.
